About Me

I married a beautiful woman who is a wonderful mother. Together, we have three georgous daughters and one handsome son. I do mean together. Not some of them hers and some of them mine. We made all four of them....together. Yep, those were the days.*****I'm a 7th generation Floridian, and a proud Southerner! We think our family came from Ireland prior to the Revolutionary War.*****Do y'all realize that Florida has become the Yankee state of the South? I have nothing against Yankees, but I wish they'd stay up North.*****My fervor is college football. The NFL is a bit too clean-cut for me, but I'll still watch it. I like seeing the raw passion of a sport. That's why I can't stand baseball. It's boring and they play too many games to matter. I've become interested in girl's fastpitch softball over the last few years. Mainly due to my daughters' participation. I really do enjoy it. I'm also a NASCAR dad! No offense to my European friends, but I don't get soccer or futball. Too much running around with no action.*****I'm involved with several local chambers of commerce, Kiwanis Club of Chipley, a couple of economic development organizations, United Way, and the Chipola Workforce Development Board. It's all very exciting.*****RAMBLING THOUGHTS: I'm politically conservative, and I like the Republican party. I don't agree with them on everything, because I'm no Kool-Aid drinker. I love advertising; even as a kid. I'd rather watch a good ad than a TV show. I take pleasure in the creative art of cooking, and my palate appreciates a wide variety of foods. I'm a bit of a history buff, and I lust over old cars. I love to travel, and embrass new experiences. I like all kinds of music, but Country is my favorite. After 24 years in the Air Force, my Dad hung up his stripes. So I'm deeply greatful to our military.*****Soap Box Time:I don't give a rat's ass about being the world's best friend! When has the United States ever been well liked in the world? No more now than in our 200+ year history! I don't believe man is the cause of global warming. Hell, the world was facing the new ice age back in the '70's. I was just old enough to remember all that crap. There was the same hyper concern back then for the impending ice age as there is now for today's global melt down. Why is man considered to be an unnatural element to the evironment, yet cow dung is all the rage? I believe we need to be good stewards of the Earth, and I think we can accomplish this without making a religion out of "environmentalism".*****I believe we need to respect each other, but my God does not recognize your god. Tell the truth, have a backbone, but learn to say your sorry when your wrong. It's not hard! Young adults shouldn't be so arrogant to think that they're too good to start a career at the bottom and work their way up!*****Alright, this is getting a bit long. Are you feelin' me yet?
