About Me

Born in Waco, Texas. Raised in the foot hills of the Mississippi Delta, in a small civil war town along the Mississippi River. Transfered to the Texas Hill Country in 97. I've played in so many bands, I can't begin to tell you. My hiatus came in the 80's, hooking up with Jackson's first true hard core, punk rock outfit, The Workin Muthas. I wouldn't have traded it for the world. We span a complete decade and played with some of the likes in major rock n roll today (I try to keep our songs in rotation). As fate may have it, I landed in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. My band through the late 90's and early 2000's was The Hill Country Hellgrammites, kind of a cross between alternative rock and progressive texas country. We hung in there for about 5 years and recorded one disc entitled: "Time left to Change" which I have currently rereleased under my own name, due to the fact, that its one of my best group of writings, I'm always left holding the bag and its never had its day in court. I also have currently completed my first solo project, entitled: "Campfires, Ghosts and Legends". An Angelic dose of melodies, harmonies and blatent ballads, where all of the songs were basically written on my front porch, overlooking Canyon Lake. It was a totally different approach for me and had very much been a challenge. I've had some of my favorite players from around the area and abroad, come in and lay tracks for me, so in short, I"m very proud of this collection, it's taken forever. I want to thank everybody for listening, I deeply appreciate you. I really do. Happy Trails and Smiles to everyone, be sure to take care during these trying times.
Adios Mucho Primos!
p.s. "Listen to more Captain Mudhole, its good for the soul."
