I am here for Friends

About Me

Well let see… I’m originally from California and lived there for the 1st 22 years of my life. I came from a simple family which gave me everything I could possibly want. My dad worked exceptionally hard working 6-7 days a week. Mom worked as a realtor in the South Bay area for several years. Straight out of high school I studied computer science and soon changed to architecture. Moved to Houston Texas purely for economic reasons and jumped into the New Home building industry.I enjoy playing poker when I have some free time and really started playing as a means to relieve my daily stresses from work. Thats another story... Maybe a blog.I am a devote Catholic and attended catholic school for several years. I enjoy eating a good steak once in a while but have strayed from the PORK products. I find today that I eat mostly fish and poultry and found a new appreciate for Tofu... The other White Meat. LOLNow I have eliminated milk and drink mostly Soy Milk and love the taste. If your used to drinking skim milk, soy is just a step away. Start with the chocolate soy… MMMM MMMM Great!)BTW I mentioned I love a good steak every so often..... NO BACON PLEASE - If you really have to have your PORK, visit the following URL’s and see if this doesn’t change your mind:
Link 1: Pork 1 - You'll Never Eat Again
Link 2: Pork 2 - The Pepsi Challenge
So enough of that…I enjoy cooking and watch tons of cooking shows on the Food Channel. I’m always trying different recipes and I find it nothing better than cooking a special meal for your someone special who can really appreciate your hard work.
Thats pretty much it... say hello and drop me a message. Cya

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Everything.... It depends on my mood. I listen mostly to 94.5 The Buzz (www.thebuzz.com)

Movies:

Movies really have to move me. There have been so many quick production films that I feel like were in a drive thru restaurant. So to answer the question, I would recommend 'Life as a House'
It’s about a man who is diagnosed with cancer and upon his discovery he decides to build a house with his estranged son. It’s a great movie!

Television:

Heroes:

My Hero... is my Dad.
RIP. (Died 9-29-06)

As I ponder the love that I saw in his eyes, A Godly love, given without compromise.... I recall many times that he stood by my side, And prodded me on with great vigor and pride. His voice ever confident, firm and yet fair, Always speaking with patience, tenderness and care.

The power and might of his hands was so sure, I knew there was nothing we couldn't endure. It's true, a few others provided insight, Yet, he laid the foundation that kept me upright.

He's the grandest of men to have lived on this earth, Although he's not royal by stature or birth. He's a man of great dignity, honor and strength. His merits are noble, and of admirable length. He's far greater than all other men that I know, He's my Dad, he's my mentor, my friend and hero.
