TO ALL OF DAWNY'S FRIENDS, January 22nd, 2006....
Little Dawny passed away, just one day before her 2nd birthday...
... she was getting very weak and was obviously having small heart attacks and strokes the past few days... actually the past few weeks... she was unable to climb like she used to... but the past couple of days she was very weak, hardly able to drag herself around.. and this morning when i woke up, she had curled herself up next to me in my blankets, and i knew she was starting to go... the poor thing... she just made it to 2 years old this month, a nice long ratty life..... she was my bestest bestest best friend in the world, i'm going to miss her so much... i'm going to miss her running around looking for crumbs... chewing on my wires... chewing on the wall sharpening her teeth that sounded like i had a lion in here... i'm going to miss her climbing up onto the couch as soon as i came in with food, begging for pieces of anything.. she loveddddd anything i ate... i'm going to miss her being such a squirmy rat.. that's what i should've named her, Squirmy, because she would never let you hold her, she'd just squirm away... she loved living in my closet, and exploring all the places behind things in my house... she loved to play with the little toy i had tied onto a long shoelace, i'd throw it around and she's chase it like a nutcase, she would bite it so hard on it i could swing her on the shoelace and she wouldn't let go... she loved playing with that... i'm gonna miss her looking so damn cute... and she was always here for me, always... i'm going to miss you Dawny... you were the best.... rest in peace my furry little ratty, bye sweet Dawny.... if you haven't figured it out yet, i'm a rat... i live in a little ratty apartment with my human.. he's pretty cool, he lets me run around the house every night, but he put this big wall in the doorway to the kitchen so i can't play in there anymore :( ...he named me after Dawn Summers on the tv show Buffy The Vampire Slayer, i love that show! too bad it got cancelled, but luckily he has Seasons 5, 6, & 7 on DVD
