Hate this part, its like when your typing up your cv and trying to think of something suitable you could put down for your hobbies "em...drinking?dancing like a possessed chicken when im drunk?talking on d phone?having sex?Men watching?Dossing on the net?Shopping?AH BUGGER OFF young(ish!) people dont have hobbies!!!" I read, dance, rest, socailise, try (and usually fail)to resist the temptation to shop and have a mild obsession with cars.
Im a bit of a schizophrenic when it comes 2music, my first love was hardhouse used 2b a raver and would listen to nothing else but as i grew up (yea right!)my tastes evolved and i developed a love of classical and musicals. These days i listen to anything rnb, hip hop and rap, particularly love songs with a heavy bass and anything good 4 dancing!
Im very picky about the types of films i watch as i am not a great lover of television in general, cant stand predictable crap like American Pie or rom-coms. I love black comedy and cant resist a good horror, the classics are the best Turn of the screw or The Shining, My all time favourate film is The life of Brian!!HILARIOUS! Love anything unusual and twisted Clockwork Orange is another fave.
There isnt much on telly that would entice me to watch it, i get worse as i get older, live should be for living not sitting in front of a box, the only time your likely to find me in front of a telly is with a particularly bad hangover!i will watch anything relatively educational but i cant resist south park or scrubs!
I could go on forever in this category, i LOVE to read. Been my favourate hobby since i learned how and was blessed with parents that had a huge library. All right, i hold my hands up and confess, i did read sweet valley high at one misguided stage of my life but from an early age i knew to balance it out, reading (but maybe not fully understanding!)JD Salinger and the Bronte's as young as nine. I tyr to avoid chick lit and romances but every now and then i slip, particularly after reading something heavy going, like Virginia Woolf, its like a little break for my brain!I also admit to loving true crimes, the more twisted the better,but i make up for it with reading all the classics, my recent favourate is The Monk by Matthew Lewis, childhood fave would be Lord of The Flies, not a huge fan of Austen, prefer The Bronte's, Wuthering Heights another all time fave. Ok, i realise most of you are probably asleep, ill stop now.
