DJ Heiko

www.djheiko.net GERMAN: Aufgewachsen ist DJ Heiko nähe Frankfurt am Main. Er ist das jüngste von drei Kindern. Seine Schwester starb bei der Geburt, und sein Bruder (Thomas) beging im Jahre 2000 einen tragischen Selbstmord. Seine Eltern führten ihn früh an die Musik heran und erfüllten ihm vom Keyboard bis zur Gitarre praktisch jeden Wunsch. Damals hörte er Sachen wie: (Falco, David Bowie, Rick Astley). Auch Ausflügen in die Rockmusik war er nicht abgeneigt, dazu absolvierte er mit Erfolg im Jahre 1993 bis 1996, eine Ausbildung zum Maler.Mitte der neunziger begann er mit dem Auflegen von Trance & House Schallplatten, nachdem er einem damaligen Freund, sein komplettes Equipment, samt Platten abkaufte. Schon wenige Wochen danach bekam er die Gelegenheit in einem kleinen Club nähe Frankfurt Main, namens Planet Mistery (ehemals Druckkammer) den Samstag zu übernehmen. Er beherrschte noch nicht einen Übergang, doch sein Enthusiasmus, sowie seine Liebe zur Musik überspielten dies komplett. Auf einigen, leider bisher viel zu wenigen Party..s wie viele finden, war und ist er ebenfalls als Disc Jockey tätig.Ab dem Jahre 1999 begann er eigene Songs aufzunehmen, und arbeitete unter anderem mit Künstlern wie Space Frog, Paul Ross, E-Wood-Echotraxx, und Reroc zusammen. Div. Radio Auftritte gabs ab 2003 zu hören. Für seine Projekte steuerte er auch immer öfter den Gesang selbst hinzu, so schrieb er eigene, mehrsprachige Texte für seine Lieder, die er auch selber und im Duett einsang.In einer längeren musikalischen Pause zog der von seitens der Medien oft weniger beachtete DJ Heiko in sein eigenes Haus, in einem schönem Luftkurort nähe Wetzlar in Mittelhessen ein. Um wie er sagt, an Inspirationen für seine Musik, und Texte zu gewinnen, und in Ruhe daran zu arbeiten. In dieser Zeit wurde es sehr still um den jungen kreativen deutschen Disc Jockey, der es seit neuestem nach langer Trennung, zur Zeit wieder vorzieht lieber mit Töchterchen Lea zu spielen, als sich die Nächte im Tonstudio&Club herumzuschlagen.Musikalisch deutlich gereift, folgte vor kurzem nach knapp zwei Jahren kreativer Auszeit, in denen er aber nie Müde wurde neue Platten zu sammeln, oder an neuen Songs und Texten zu basteln, sein DJ-Comeback. Für 2007 kündigte er wieder mehr Auftritte als Disc Jockey in Deutschland an. Seine DJ-Sets beschreibt er selber gerne als "Reise" die geprägt sei von "World-Acoustic", auf der alles vorkommen könne.
