Justin Richards, Niagara bass player, has been entertaining the club scene since the age of 14. Twist of Fate, The FridgeMagnets, BluBones, and Who's Your Daddy kept steady gigs for this bassist for well over 10 years. With many oppurtunies being able to join the stage with bands like Collective Soul, The Trews, Killer Dwarfs, Lee Aaron, and Rainbow Butt Monkeys (Finger Eleven), he's also had the chance to play some more larger venues including Air Canada Centre (Raptor's Home Opener) and New Year's Eve (Collective Soul/The Trews) in Niagara Falls for over 30,000 in attendance.Now for the past year, local act "The Maddhatters" has been his focus. At the moment, they are putting the finishing touches on their first E.P. They have been recording at Daniel Lanois' Grant Avenue Studios, with the help of Dave Rave (Teenage Head) and Nick Riot (Oliver Black). A winter release is planned.
