Music soothes the savage beast!! I love music of most all kinds, as long as it displays creativity and substance. I think songs like 50 cent "in da club" are freakin' stupid! sorry just not my thing. My influences start from my mom and dad's music. Mom was into Queen and Yes, Dad was into sixties rock and a lot of jazz. I saw Primus when I was 15 at the Greek in Berkeley, and it was on! From there old Red hot chili peppers, rush, helmet, stp, tool, the doors, jimi hendrix, led zep, pink floyd, then bad religion, social distortion, nofx, ramones. Lately my tastes run from Foo fighters, Johnny cash, to Jack Johnson, to the Killers, Flogging Molly, Tiger army, to Coldplay, Bela Fleck, Dave Matthews, and always back to Red hot chili peppers, and Primus!! I KEEP MY MIND OPEN TO MUSIC!
The doors, the untouchables, Armegeddon, pulp fiction, happy gilmore, point break, old skool, anything with Will Ferrell, Adam sandler, or Vince Vaughn is always a winner!
Rolling Stone, Modern Drummer, Fine Homebuilding, Rod and Custom, wait a minute these are all magazines, that's right I don't read books, unless it's The Bible!
