I'm one philosophical realistic "brotha" with two scoops of sarcasm and a dash of politically incorrect humor. There are some things some people won't talk about, but I somehow manage to make jokes about those things. My humor type is dark and I never met a topic that was too sacred. It's not that I'm twisted (well, maybe a little ;) ), I just believe that laughter is the universal healer. In my life, things are so twisted that you just have to laugh. I may end up insane, but I'll have fun on the way to the asylum. So,... am I disciplined? Yes! Am I educating myself? Yes! Am I doing anything constructive with my life? Yes! Am I proactive? Yes! Are there things that I'm passionate about? Yes! Am I someone you can introduce to your friends, your family, take to dinner parties and feel proud to say "I know him."? Yes! Do I rent expensive cars so I can park in front of the club when it's over? No! Do I work at IBM and sell weed on the side? No! Am I grown man, but still talk about video games as if I'm partaking in a real-life event? No! Is my main priority to save money so I can by "rims" and a better sound system for a car? No! Do I have a criminal record? No!! Am I unemployed and still living at home with my folks? No!!! Would I agree with everything a woman says and let her push me over? Hell No!!!

My Interests

I have a passion for training and competing in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Mixed-Martial Arts. I train at the World Team USA gym with with the best. My professional passion is Clinical Social Work and cross-cultural counseling. I also enjoy discussing topics on power and privilege in society as well as watching Japanese Anime and drawing Manga.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to sit at a table @ IHOP during two in the morning and have discussions about life with Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Bruce Lee, Dave Chappell, Richard Prior, Bill Maher, Chuck "D", Malcom X, and my Mother.MOVE ALL HTML CODES (IMAGES/WIDGETS/SLIDESHOWS/VIDEOS) BELOW THIS CODE

Music:

The Social Worker in me prefers to listen to Socially, politically and culturally conscious hip-hop. My favorite rap artist are all under the Guerrilla Funk recording label because they tell it like it is. I still believe the best Hip-Hop group of all time is Public Enemy. I have to agree with Chuck D. when he says that today's reckless rap is bridging jail mentality straight into the middle schools via radio and video overdosing. The next best thing I listen to is The Deftones and Static-X. I like hardcore rock especially when working out. I listen to other kinds of music but lately the focus has been on these artists.

Movies:

I like movies that make me laugh, that make me think, that make me jump out of my seat, that makes me feel. I tend to lean towards Foreign Films and Japanese Anime more than Domestic Films.

Television:

I've almost just about given up on TV. I still watch Adult Swim, Family Guy, American Dad, King Of The Hill, and Last comic Standing. I mostly watch adult oriented animation.

Books:

Now since I finished graduate school I've started reading Japanese Graphic Novels.

Heroes:

My Mother (R.I.P.), My Older Sister, Ghandi, Bruce Lee, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Chuck "D", and Paris.
