I'd like to sit at a table @ IHOP during two in the morning and have discussions about life with Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Bruce Lee, Dave Chappell, Richard Prior, Bill Maher, Chuck "D", Malcom X, and my Mother.MOVE ALL HTML CODES (IMAGES/WIDGETS/SLIDESHOWS/VIDEOS) BELOW THIS CODE
The Social Worker in me prefers to listen to Socially, politically and culturally conscious hip-hop. My favorite rap artist are all under the Guerrilla Funk recording label because they tell it like it is. I still believe the best Hip-Hop group of all time is Public Enemy. I have to agree with Chuck D. when he says that today's reckless rap is bridging jail mentality straight into the middle schools via radio and video overdosing. The next best thing I listen to is The Deftones and Static-X. I like hardcore rock especially when working out. I listen to other kinds of music but lately the focus has been on these artists.
I like movies that make me laugh, that make me think, that make me jump out of my seat, that makes me feel. I tend to lean towards Foreign Films and Japanese Anime more than Domestic Films.
I've almost just about given up on TV. I still watch Adult Swim, Family Guy, American Dad, King Of The Hill, and Last comic Standing. I mostly watch adult oriented animation.
Now since I finished graduate school I've started reading Japanese Graphic Novels.
