About Me

I'd like to think I have an excellent sense of humor and I try to surround myself with people who can also find humor in everyday life. I am back on Oahu after living in my little comfort zone on Kauai for the past three years and now I am trying to find contentment and amusement on this little island without allowing myself to be drawn into the drama that seems to permeate my mind on too many occasions. I learned years ago to be adventurous enough to go out alone, which means that most of the time I'd rather go to the bar and attempt to find distractions in a drunk crowd than stay at home alone and feel sorry for myself. I don't like to wait on people and I don't like people to wait on me. I probably drink too much but I suppose there are worse things I could do. I have a wonderful family that has always been my support when life starts to drag me down...well family and Prozac! I am still looking for the love of my life, if such an entity exists...especially in this limited pool of single young men that we can find on an island.
