Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I found a love for music at an early age. Once I got my first drum set at the age of 12, that was ALL SHE WROTE...HOORAY! NO MORE BANGIN ON THE POTS AND PANS! I grew up playing in church and learning different elements of playing in live musical situations. I began writing lyrics at an early age and after being overwhelmed with so many melodies and ideas in my head for those songs, I purchased my first keyboard. The rest was history. What I thought was going to be laying down some ideas for songs I wrote turned into a profound affection for composing music in many forms. That is where I am today. My vision as a songwriter is to be able to work with different artists in different genres of music. So many different genres fuel my creative energy as a writer but my main source of inspiration comes from life's experiences.Today I am a member of The Groove Stu Band for whom I write, produce, and play the drums. G.S. STAND UP!!!I've also had the priveledge of working with many local gospel, hiphop, and R&B artists in Baltimore area. One of my highlights has been meeting, and continously working with my mentor and friend Gordon Chambers...songwriting extraordinare.
