I'm a sophomore at St. Viator. I love meeting new people so please don't be shy and say hello to me! Here are some quick things you should know about me:
I love music so much. It's the only thing that can truly understand you. It also lets me vent and let out whatever emotions have been building up inside of me. Overall, Punk Rock is my favourite genre. For awhile I was going through different types of music. I liked Metal, Death Metal, Emo, Screamo, Grunge, among other different types. But this year I finally found Punk and ever since then I have yet to find a better genre.
I HATE Bush. I think he's a fecking eejit. Not to mention probably the worst president the U.S. has ever had. End of story. Don't even get me started on why you think he is a good president because chances are: 1. I've already heard it before and 2. I'll school your arse and then you'll end up on my side.
I'm Irish. Only 50% though. Sometimes I wish I was 100% but at least I'm half. I am extremely proud of my people and what they have gone through. And no, the IRA are not liberators, they are terrorists. Back in the late 1800's to 1917, when England was slaughtering the Irish people, it was OK for them to do what they did, but I really dispise them presently. Anyway, Ireland is the coolest place in the world, even though i still haven't been there. But when I do go there I think I'll feel right at home.
England is also amazing. And just because I'm Irish doesnt mean that I have to hate the English. I'm a big believer in forgivness, and unless England starts another genocide in Ireland, then I'm perfectly happy with them, and you should be too. And if you think differently...well shut the hell up i don't want to hear about it. When I get done with college and whatnot, I'm moving there for sure.
Manchester United is an amazing football (soccer) team. They have very talented players, not to mention a real unity on the team. Enough said.
Energy Drinks are the best. Although they're not particularly good for you they taste amazing and give me the energy i need. Plus, after having so many, the burn-out effect is pretty much gone. I especially like Monster (Assualt and Regular) but Amp and Full Throttle are good too.
I love playing instruments too. It's just something about picking up an instrument and playing whatever the hell you want, that makes me find more and more instruments to play. So far I can play the alto sax, the guitar, the bass, the accordian, the tin whistle, the bagpipes, the mandolin, and the harmonica. I pretty much figured out how to play all of those instrments by myself, with the exception of the sax, the guitar, and the bagpipes. I guess you can call me multi-talented, but I think that i just have a knack for it.
I am a HUGE pacifist. I hate almost all kinds of violence, injustice, and war. I think we can get farther in solving our problems by talking and reasoning. Although this doesn't work many times, I think it is one of the most effective ways to end conflicts. So if you're looking to get in a physical fight with me, it's not going to happen.
I think of myself as a strong Catholic and an even stronger believer in God. I feel a real connection between myself and God. I know that sounds extremely cheezy, but sometimes when I feel like i have nowhere else to turn, God is always there to listen to me. Don't even think about telling me that I'm not punk because I believe in God because it is shite, and punk should be about other matters, that aren't as trivial as your religious beliefs.
I try to change my act and be a role model for other people, because there are so many amasing people in my life, but I usually fail miserably and revert back to my old ways. But that's life.
Ok meet Joelle and Cate. They're like my two best friends that I meet at Viator. We haven't been friends for very long but we're so close. We all think almost the exact same. We've had so many good times together. They're pretty much like my sisters. We all help each other out when one of us has problems. They're one of the reasons I look foreward to going to school every day. I love these two to death.
