Learning to share!! Momma calls me her "Porch Monkey" cause that is where I am normally at. I love to sit in the sun, but I also like to sit in the rain. Momma hasn't been able to figure out yet why I do it, but it is pretty funny listening to her fuss at me when I do. I am a great mouser-I bring at least two home every week for Mom. I love to scratch! You should see my couch-I've decorated the legs so well. And I love to eat, especially table scrapes and with three kids there is a lot to be shared. I even get a little cereal milk sometimes. And I am the only kitty in the house that likes kitty treats. I don't know what is wrong with the other cats, but hey- more for me! I'm the one that will come running from where ever I am when I hear the Pounce. But, the best part of the day is when I'm getting a rub down. I get all into it, roll over on my back and purr. I get so in to it that I get dumbfounded. Sometimes I roll right off the couch trying to get just the right spot rubbed! And everyone loves petting me! I'm so pretty!
I'm the kind of kitty that will go right up to anyone to get pet, so i guess you could say I meet a lot of people, but one day I'd like to meet Garfield. I think my Mom makes a pretty good lasagna, and I'd like to invite him over and chat. Get Your Own! | View Slideshow These are pictures of Mr. Jr. Drew Miyagi. Or J.D. for short. And then Mom calls him Dirty D because every time he comes in she has to pull cobwebs off or she has to dust all the dirt of him. J.D. is the ALPHA male Kitty! He is almost three and loves to be outside with me. I think he has anxiety problems, no one execpt for Mom can get close to him. And he loves her, he even walks with her up to the store and sits behind the dumpster until she comes out. And if she goes over to visit a neighbor, he sits outside and cries until she comes out. But, when we are outside, we sit under,on or even in people's cars. Mom yells at us, but we are a little hard of hearing. I like to get into the next door nighbors' car and sharpen my claws on the back seat. She doesn't seem to mind, but it makes Mom real MAD! JD is not very good at mouse catching- that's why it is my job. But he is good at protecting the house from other kitties. No one can come in our yard..LOL..Did I tell you he has anxiety problems- he doesn't like noise. And we have a noise maker right across the road. Miss Shelby, a girl beagle who doesn't like to stay in the yard- barks all the time. I think JD has finally fixed the problem though. He strolls right over there and smacks her in the head when she's loud. Now, when JD goes in her yard, she sits down and looks the other way as if to say "I don't see you!" And when she gets out, JD chases her home. It is so funny! He is also a picky eater. For one, he doesn't like treats. And Mom has tried a lot of different kinds! And you would think he was a King in another life...He only licks the juice off his canned food and insist on fresh dry food everytime he comes in. And he is loud when he doesn't get his way- there is no ignoring JD! Get Your Own! | View Slideshow ~~~Our Lucifer~~~ ...Daddy's Lucifer....We miss him! He was only a year old when he was hit by a car and it broke Daddy's heart, and everyone else too. But he was definitely Daddy's kitty. Mommy wanted an orange Kitty, and Daddy had a friend with brand new kittens. When they went to look at them, Lucy was the only one left and the lady told us he was a liitle hyper. She said that if it didn't work out, we could bring him back- Mommy and Daddy wondered what that meant? And when they got him home and he relaxed from the horrible car ride- all Hell broke lose. He was a wild child, more energy than anyone had seen. And he liked to bite, and his favorite chew toy was me! I couldn't come in the house without getting mauled. He was mean, mean, mean...but Daddy loved him! Lucifer ate everything! And he was so bold about it...one night he got right up on the stove and took one of Mommies chicken wings out of the pot! He even took a porkchop off Daddy's plate one night- and he stole a chicken leg out of the KFC bucket and hid under the bed with it! He loved Chinese- although now my humans know that cats SHOULD NOT eat everything. He also liked to chew on boxes, cardboard and baskets. He ate important papers, too. Now, Lucifer was named after the black kitty on Cinderalla- he got into so much trouble that the name fit. Mommy didn't like yelling the name Lucifer all the time so she called him Lucy or Woo-Woo. But, like I said he was Daddy's kitty. He purred for Daddy and no one else. He knew the sound of the van and when Daddy would get home from work, he haul butt to the door and cry until Daddy came in and visited with him. They played tag and hide-and-go-seek all the time. Lucy loved peek-a-boo, too; however, he was better at it than everyone else. Did I tell you he was mean? He was our inside protecter- he had to taste everyone that come through the door. "Beware of Attack Cat" should of been posted outside. Lucy's job was to keep Mommy company. he was suppose to be the inside Kitty, but he loved the outdoors to much. Any chance to escape, and he was out the door. And he wouldn't come home for days. Then when he finally decided to return, he would sleep for days. Personally I think he was visiting with the ladies, nothing else would keep you away that long? Lucy liked to hump- he was always trying to hump Mommie- or at least anything close to her, and as soon as Daddy would walk into the room, he stopped. Mommie was always telling him that she was daddy's girl, not his! Pretty weird, huh? Even with all the strange things he did, and as mean as he was, my humans still loved him. And so did I. Get Your Own! | View Slideshow Get Your Own! | View Slideshow And now we have Otis. About a month or so after we lost Lucy, one of Daddy's friends shows up with two little orange kittens. And boy were they little, and were screaming something about going back to their Momma. Daddy told Mommy she could have one, the other one would find a good home, too. Mommie wanted a boy, so she picked the light orange one. And man did she fall in love. He was so whinny, Daddy didn't like him. But Mommy said it was cause he was so little. And after a few weeks, he settled right in. Now...here's the weirdness about this. If you do the math as to when Lucy had got out, and when these kittens were born, one might wonder-And when their Momma cat is gray with white feet and Daddy is unknown- one wonders even more. But when they live one street over...the possibilites are huge! And now that Otis is getting older, he even looks and acts like Lucifer. He chews on me like Lucy did- sometimes worse. He has some sharp baby teeth! He even eats boxes the same way. And then one day it happened...Daddy yelled for Mommie to come quick! When Mommie came in the room, Daddy said, "I know for sure now!", and then Mommie noticed that Otis was a humper, too. Another coinidence? I think not! The only difference is that Otis is a lover, not a fighter. But don't get me wrong- he's still mean when he plays, but he is the biggest cuddle bug, and he purrs for Mommy! He is the inside Kitty, and his job is to keep Mom busy. They play and nap together. He gives her kisses all the time. So far, he has not acted like he wants to come outside, hopefully he'll understand how important his job is!
I'd rather be outside listening to the birds. Have you ever sat outside and really listened to the birds? CAN YOU FIND THE REAL KITTY?

Those two little girls that took me to the birthday party.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow It's a good thing my Momma is obessed with taking pictures! Cause we have lots of friends that come visit. I have been around for awile, so I am used to the dogs. Mom just lets them come in and make themselves at home. I wouldn't mind so much, but they are kinda smelly and some drool! My brothers don't like it at all. You don't even see JD when they come around. I think he knows which ones he can boss around and which ones he can't. And our little Otis still is trying to figure out what they are. He fuzzes up and hisses. It's no way to greet our friends, I'd say! Still, I enjoy meeting new friends- there's always something new to learn from someone! Support Our Troops! I'm glad I have fur! No one better say anything to me ever again about a diet!
