Nicolai was born on October 4th, 1991 – and he wasn’t very old before his life was filled with music – and a bit later, dance.
Nicolai was 4, when he put on his dancingshoes for the first time. At first he danced traditionel dances – later he went into showdance, funk and hip hop – and now he has also added ballet to the list.
In 2002 Nicolai auditioned for the Legoland Showacademy – he was accepted and spent 2 good, learning years there.
In 2003 some of his friends from the Academi participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest – and the night of the event, Nicolai was in the audience.
After the show, Nicolai stated: I want to be on that stage!
So he sat down and wrote lyrics for a song – got some help with the music – recorded a demo and a video.
He sent this to the Danish Eurovison board, and lo and behold – he got in!
Nicolai won the Danish contest – with maximum points.
Al of a sudden Nicolai was known throughout Denmark after a single night – this took some getting used to.
Since then he has performed all over Denmark and recorded his first album for release in November 2006. His second album hit the shops on November 12. 2007.
