About Me

I am playing the bass in RABALDER!
RABALDER is one of the hardest working party-coverbands in Stockholm (Sweden).
Five guys playing just about any gig they can get their hands on.

But maybe we should take it from the beginning?! I was born a sunny day in June back in -73. My parents told me that I was standing in the backseat of our SAAB at the age of three playing along with the radio.
At the age of nine I was asked if I wanted an instrument. Of course I wanted drums, all kids that age wants drums... Mom said no and I had to consult my older brothers records. I found KISS and Gene Simmons. So I got back to the kitchen and said that I wanted a bass. The story had started.
My first professional gig was at the age of 12. I did two songs with Cyndee Peters, of course it sucked...but I was only a child.
Took music lessons and got the chance to play with different musicians here in Sweden.
I studied Jazz and found alot of new interesting input as well as my reading skills got better. My hero showed me "New mordern Bass" by Jaco and that was the turning point for my approach to playing bass
I got into a band at the age of 16, we did coversongs. That band is still active and are still playing the same songs.
.. I have formed a couple of bands.
H.A.L that played some kind of industry with NIN, PLP and Ministry influences...
PASSIVE that played metal (I miss that band). We took a christmas break a couple of years ago and haven't rehearsed once since.
At the moment I'm playing the bass in RABALDER, and also in BEJERSTRAND BAND. They were pretty big in the late 70's.
At the moment I'm always looking for new contacts in music, and more gigs.

My Interests

Pass that pen there, Billy Bob and I'll write us up a song
Or perhaps I'll pen a sonnet if the melody sits all wrong
Hand me down a crayon and I'll draw a mighty oak
Of all of my brothers Mason I'm the quickest with a joke
Catch me in the right light, see my shape's shaped to please
and if I shank my trousers down I'm hung just above the knees
You may have difficulty catching breath
when you hear my weighty name I'm the one that told you, told you so...
they calls me Puddin' Taine

Now step on up and dance the dance and touch the hand that heals
Like the tallest hog on Wall Street I'm wheeling all the deals
They'll carve my face in marble and etch my name in stone
They'll paint my noble portrait and historify my home
You may have difficulty catching breath
when you hear my weighty name I'm the one that told you, told you so...
they calls me Puddin' Taine
