The End of Something is the Beginning of Something New...

About Me

I'm an oxymoronic chameleon. In the simplest terms I'm a bit of a freak. I don't quite fit anywhere since my tastes are constantly changing but with a little bit of effort I can fit in anywhere. Does that make sense?
I work so that I can afford to do the things I want to do. Unfortuneately I have very expensive tastes and hobbies which forces me into a career which isn't necessarily my dream job. At the moment, my dream job is to be the head writer on a soap opera. You make a lot of money, are around gorgeous people 24/7, and it's a very stable job.
I love to write but I know I don't have the talent nor a thick enough hide to be a professional writer. At best I'm an entertaining writer of fanfiction with a very loyal online following. I prefer to remain anonymous while I write because I can't take any negative feedback when it comes to my writing.
I can be such a geek, intellectually speaking but I'm also fairly athletic. I'm a hardcore skier in fact I love doing anything that can give me a natural high. My goal for this year is to find tennis buddies.
Ughhh! I'm getting sick of talking about myself...
Well I just moved into the OC area and am interviewing for potential best buddies. Rescue me from a life of couch potatoeness and send me an e-mail.

Books:

Books:
I’m addicted to the written word. The idea of people’s feelings and imaginations forever immortalized in books is an emotional aphrodisiac for the soul. I find myself falling in love with fictional characters more then I do for flesh and blood people. I think that fellow writers and artists understand where I’m going here.
For me, there isn’t one book that I can list as my favorite and I cannot list them all since the list changes on a daily basis. The authors that I can honestly say has never been off my top ten lists are
Shakespeare Jane Austin Dante.
I love the classics more then I do the modern contemporary novels.
My must read books are as follows:
Shakespeare: The Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, Alls Well that Ends Well, The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and As You Like It. (Yes, I enjoy Shakespeare’s comedies more then I do his tragedies)
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition; Make him a member of the gentry, even if he is a commoner. And gentlemen in England now-a-bed Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
Before the Battle of Agincourt, 25 October 1415 Shakespeare Henry V, Act 4, Scene 3
Jane Austin: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Persuasion, and Mansfield Park Bronte Sisters: Emily: Wuthering Heights Charlotte: Jane Eyre Anthony Trollope: The Way We Live NowElizabeth Gaskell: Wives and DaughtersDickens: A Tale of Two Cities, Bleak House, David Copperfield, Our Mutual Friend, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickelby, and Great Expectations.
