About Me

A POP NERD AT BEST....Born Joshua Slove as a pre-mature songwriter ("wishful thinking") on September 22, 1973. Adopted by two wonderful parents as a pre-mature creature; re-named "Will"-iam; near Edison Park, IL. My musical interests started late, but found a single cassette tape (Roxette's "Look Sharp!") in my sister's bedroom (years and years and years ago!) that changed my life. Never considered myself as a "deep" writer and/or even a decent writer and I'll tell you first hand that the lyrics I do write can be very simple; simplicity at best?; and maybe the cause of a lack of an EARLY influential drug intake? Either way, it has become a past-time or what I like to call a healthy hobby that takes up a lot of my spare time. The very first lyric titled: "Feelin' So Good (On Top Of The Roof!)", was written back in 1993 on a fall afternoon. After a while, it just became something natural to me and you realize that this discovery of poetic/lyrical writing has now become more of a gift. And how you use it is basically up to the individual and how they want to deliver their personal thoughts, feelings or message. Have to admit, I write more for the simple-minded "folks" like myself--which is not a negative in any way, shape or form--but, I also try to connect and grow as a writer to reach others as well.
