This is going to be a milestone year, I will turn 60 in May. It just doesn't seem possible!! I remember hearing older people talking about where did the years go??? Now I am doing the same thing. I have had an interesting life. I have always been the one who loves to do different things and experience new places, food, people, etc. I have been fortunate to travel extensively. My goal this year is to see the Northwest part of our beautiful United States. I have visited almost all the major cities in the US, but never been to the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone!! So we are going to change that....lolMy husband and I are both retired, live in Texas, and just enjoy the easy, slow life of doing what we want to do. I worked for 22 years in Kentucky, so retirement is a welcome change of life for me. We have donkeys for pets, we are members of a Gem and Mineral club, which my husband really enjoys, he has always been fascinated with different kinds of rocks, etc.I love to do my crafts, I like to crochet, read, and I enjoy the computer a lot.I have one son, Rocky. He is 40 years old. I have three beautiful, smart, intelligent, and all around perfect (sound like a grandmother?) grandchildren. Kala, 18, who will soon be finishing her first year of college; Kyle, 16; and Kendra, 13. They are growing up and I just enjoy being with them so much. I think all three are going to be wonderful, caring, and productive adults.
