About Me

A generally fun loving guy. I keep myself fairly busy, hanging out with friends, working, family, and theatre. I love meeting new people, getting to talk to people I wouldn't normally get a chance to. I'm a sports nut, although I like to play them more watch, and I've tried almost everything. Sometimes I can't keep up with myself. Aside from what I do... here is what I am in a nutshell. Caring, warm, good listener, problem solver and always cracking a joke. Sometimes it may seem that I don't take ANYTHING seriously, but when you get to know me better you'll find that I make jokes in attempts to both make sure people are having fun (the point in living), and to ingratiate myself. I'm open to a fault, although I've been learning to be a little more reserved. Talk to me, I like hearing from almost anyone.

My Interests

In no particular order: Theatre, Rock Climbing, Softball, Mountain Biking, The MD Renaissance Festival, Football, Video Games, Board games, Dating

I'd like to meet:

Fun-loving, active people. Anyone with a good nature about them, although can have an appreciation for the darker side. As for dating, I need a woman who isn't afraid of letting herself play. I'd prefer a girl who is just as comfortable in jeans and a ball cap as in an evening gown... maybe good at sports, but at least willing to try them.

Music:

I can't really pick one genre. Rock (classic and modern), Alternative, Country, Oldies, some rap, anything as long as I can sing along to it. Some of my favorite groups/artists are DMB, John Mayer, Linkin Park, GNR, John Denver, Garth Brooks, Fuel and Billy Joel... althought that's barely scratching the surface.

Movies:

I love to quote just about anything that I can remember.... but some of my all-time favorites include The Princess Bride, Blazing Saddles, The Hunt for Red October, Airplane, Braveheart. The Three Amigos, Van Wilder, LOTR, Last Samuri, James Bond, and Alladin.

Television:

Family Guy, History Channel, Myth Busters, Learning TV stuff... Discovery, TLC, and Comedy Central

Books:

Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code both by Dan Brown; Michael Crichton's books; The Princess Bride (even better than the movie); Carl Sagan; I'm working on other classics now...

Heroes:

People with the courage to stand-up for what they know is right over what is good for them. I think that I have trouble admiring most modern celebrities as most have sold-out to get where they are.
