About Me

If ye know me, then I don't need to fill this bit out, cos I'll only write shite anyway and if you dont know me then,.....emmm.....aye? If yer a numpty...beat it!!! If your not, or at least think you might not be, feel free to drop me a line!

My Interests

trying to play me banjo and just learning the guitar (can play 1 song now woohoo!!!, jugglin and poi so long as its fire, escapin the concrete jungle, climbing trees (dont like coming back down, its always harder), contemplating....things and whistling! emmmmm.....and lots of other interesting thangs, i think.

I'd like to meet:

Nice folks with something going on upstairs....and I guess the ones who dont...just to remind how special the "other" ones are! Maybe my doppelganger just to pickle my fragile little mind! steve earle, john McEuan, Scruggs is a must and Bush so i can taunt him :D"The rush to books and universities is like the rush to the public house. People want to drown their realization of the difficulties of living properly in this grotesque contemporary world, they want to forget their own deplorable inefficiency as artists in life." - "Aldous Huxley"

Music:

Bluegrass, Folk, Rock from yesteryear. Tastes change from week to week. Cant get enough of Townes Van Zandt just now. I'm learning to play the banjo, hence my musical tastes gone soft haha but funkit.. absolutely adore Joan Baez....im intending to steal her one day...but shhhh....

Movies:

Anything starting with "Debbie Does...", The Life Of Brian, Event Horizon, 28 Days Later, Alice In Wonderland, Fight Club, Zoolander, Tarantino Flicks, Deliverance, What the Bleep do we Know?, Ghost In The Shell, Hero, Fearless, Flying Daggers, Amelie, The Mission, Interview with A Vampire, 300, 1942, and so many more to add at some point. there really is too many to mention. Got the BIGGEST dvd collection i know of other than the likes of HMV...

Television:

NO TV! Love films though! ";THIS IS WHAT TV DOES!With the exception of nonsense such as this...

Books:

I think the first yin I read was called emmm...Razzle, 1984, Anything by Anne Rice. Jonatahan Livingston Seagull, Animal Farm, Papillon, Lord of the Rings, Hells Angels by Hunter S Thompson, The retalliation to Hells angels By Sunny Barger (head of the Hells Angels) To Your Scattered Bodies Go, The Day Of The Triffids, Sophies World, Some Arthur C Clark stuff....oh, and pablo cohello's works are great!

Heroes:

Townes Van Zandt, Earl Scruggs, Johnathan Livingston (yeah, the Gull), John McEuan, my grandpa. Dali and Da Vinci.....does Foghorn Leghorn count?
Thoughts For The Week Right, why the hell do some ants have to fly? They freak me out more than the Disney Corporation (and thats really saying something)! There's just no need for them...Seriously!!! I think instead of cloning sheep and probably George Bush and making bombs to destroy asteroids (yeah right lol) what we should be focusing on is splicing!Thats right, a hybrid between two creatures, more if you like but for what I'm about to recommend we only need 2 and thats a sparrow and an ant eater. Splice them together and Boabs yer uncle, no more flying ants! "Africanised Bees", "terrorists", "Politicians", "chavs"...none of these come close to Flying Ants. They are the apitamy of condensed evil. Im telling you. Just remember, some time in the future you'll look back and say, "hey we shoulda listened to Dave".Well I've raised the awareness so dont come crying to me when the shit hits the fan!And that folks is my grumble for this week!Over 'n' Out!......Good day Sir!
This is my own video and music from the Techno days...but im slowly mutating into a folkie :D "those days are gone my friend, we thought they'd never end...tra la la..."
