RedCat is a Finnish hard rock band whose music could be described as "80's Street Metal".
The band was born in 2004 and recorded it's first demo the next year.
In 2006 the line up
went through some changes. The guitarist and drummer parted ways with RedCat and the founders
Teemu and Kalle were forced to approach one crazy guitar-dude.
It was the singer-guitarist of the Finnish glam metal band Desyre known as Mazi Bee.
Desyre had just gone thru some changes also by losing their drummer Zade Syre. Thus Mazi was
very open to the invitation. The chemistry clicked big time and soon Desyre's ex-drummer
also joined the band. Funny, isn't it? RedCat is now 50% Desyre.
