Macross: Do you remember love?, Big Lebowski, Falling down, Dead man, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, everything Hayao Miyazaki, Kill Bill 1, first 2 alien movies, Grave of the fireflies, Ghost in the shell, Akira, Ninja scroll, Spinal Tap, Tim Burton, Akira Kurosawa, Army of darkness, the original unspoiled Star Wars trilogy, old horror movies and possibly some other horror movies too. Andrei Tarkovski's Stalker. Fantasy & adventure movies.
I don't watch it much, but some series I have liked (mostly on dvd though): The Black Adder, Studio Julmahuvi (Finnish comedy series), Fawlty towers, 'Allo 'allo, The office, X-files. And some anime series like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Full metal alchemist and most of all the original Macross series.
I don't really have heroes, but as for musicians, Marty Friedman & Jason Becker. And I have always appreciated Ihsahn's (Emperor) songwriting abilities.
