I just love my ipod!!! I spend too many hours trying to discover new music, I DESPISE top 40 radio so I want to listen to real alternative music.
My latest OBSESSION is Lumines II for the PSP. I can't put this dumb game away.
After quite an absence I'm taking up skateboarding again. Tony Hawke's older than I am so why not?
I enjoy eating out trying new restaurants. I'm not a huge "party animal", in fact most evenings I'm not working I'm relaxing at home Im'ing friends or just chillin.
Oh yeah, I've got a watch or two. People always ask how many I have and I need to take inventory again. By the way, I hate winter. HATE IT!
By the way, I will be taking a vacation soon and I would like to introduce to you the man who will be filling in for me from now on. A new face to the watch programs who I think will provide a refreshing change...
I'd like to meet:

Music:
New on my Ipod in the past couple weeks: 6/24- The Album "Lovelife" by a MInneapolis band called Thosquanta. They've got a really different sound that I'm liking, very electronic. 6/20- Katy Perry, "I kissed a girl". 6/14- The Fold, "Beside You Know"; Rehab, "Sittin' At A Bar. 6/7- Puddle of mud, "We don't have to look back now". 6/3- Coldplay, "Viva la vida" 5/22- The Cure (!!! yeah they're back) "The Only One". 5/14- Foxboro Hotubs, "The Pedestrian" and The Offspring, "Hammerhead", both 4 star tunes worth downloading for sure.Probably my favorites are artists from the 80's like Tears for Fears, Squeeze, Violent Femmes, Madness, Rick Astley, A-Ha and Level 42. I was fortunate enough to work in College/Alternative radio back in those days and it was right before alternative went mainstream.
AND THEN THERE'S...
Movies:
I have the shortest attention span so I don't sit through many movies. Plus the very idea of going to a crowded, kid-infested, small chair filled, theater makes me violently ill. That said I do have an appreciation for bad movies. Now before you start discussing bad movies with me let me make it clear you do NOT qualify as a fan of bad movies just because you sat through Manos on MST3k. When you can discuss the beauty of Tiny Tim in Blood Harvest with me, or Christopher Atkins in just about anything then we can chat.
Television:
"True Blood", "Top Design", the FOX Sunday night Cartoons, "Kitchen Nightmares", The Reaper" , "Penn & Teller's BS" and selected seasons of "The Real World"
Most of what I watch is on DVD or downloaded through I-Tunes. I'm just going through Season 2 of Lost so I'm a bit behind. I'm collecting the DVD sets shows like The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, and classics like I Love Lucy, Golden Girls, and Dark Shadows (just collected the entire 1000+ episodes of Dark Shadows).
Frankly network television stinks and has made itself irrelevant. My favorite current scripted shows are actually imports from Canada I've bought on DVD, Trailer Park Boys (uncensored, not like the cut version on BBC America, damn FCC) Corner Gas (best show on TV), and The Newsroom. I would much rather listen to music (or O and A) and be on the computer.
One of my all time favorite TV shows and movies is discussed in this ShopNBC clip as you watch "Logan" model:

Here is possibly my favorite piece of sketch comedy, EVER. From the Carol Burnett show enjoy "no frills airline" with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. I remember watching it when it first aired and I laugh as hard today.
Books:
Just finished the 2nd Harry Potter book, will start #3 soon.
Heroes:
Frank Keenan, Chuck Barris, Ted Turner, any tool that actually bought this thinking it's great: This is an actually item from the "Shop At Home" tv shopping network. by the way, they're going out of business. Wonder why?
also want to meet THIS WOMAN!... I've seen this for almost 30 years but still laugh out loud.
