Born in Portland, I spent my childhood moving from city to city; from the northwest to southern california and everywhere in between. Somehow I ended up transplanted to the salty deserts of Utah by middle school. (Thanks mom!) Since then I've traveled quite a bit on my own, but still call Salt Lake home.
I work as a mid-level network engineer and as an information architect for web applications. I also freelance as a graphic designer, often designing flyers for local clubs, mailers, magazine advertisements, etc. I've been a photoshop geek for over 10 years and have designed over 100 advertisements.
I throw shows around Salt Lake City. Founded DreamWerx Events ('00-'02), S.alt L.ake U.nity T.ribe, Elemental Forces ('02-'07) and The Syndicate (Est. 2007). I started THE SEQUENCE outdoor music festival (7 years strong!) and have thrown 30 or so other one-off events.
I've also thrown a ton of club nights around the city in the last 5 or so years... Throwing events at Utah's most popular venues: Axis, Club Naked, Vortex, Bourbon Street, Shaggy's, In The Venue, Salt Air and others. Ran a store in Sugarhouse for a while called INSOMNIACS which was short lived due to bad upper management, which I hope to bring back at some point.
Aside from that, I love technology and the outdoors. (weird mix?) Geek toys (music production equipment mainly) and getting out camping, boating, and four-wheeling whenever possible! I spend most of my time dreaming in my studio and plotting future business ideas.
