In 1972 our crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime we didn't commit. We promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. The "A" stands for "Alpha", as in Alpha Team we're a former crack commando unit who fought during the Vietnam War. Nearing the end of the war we were wrongly arrested for robbing the Bank of Hanoi. After being arrested and trialed we escaped from a maximum security prison (Fort Bragg). In the years that followed we were on the run from numerous military pursuers. During this time we helped out victimised people in America and beyond, usually for very little money. We consist of: John "Hannibal" Smith, the leader of the team, and a master of disguise; Templeton "Faceman" Peck, a handsome conman; H.M. Murdock, an ace pilot who resided in a mental hospital; and Bosco "B.A." Baracus, a mechanic and generally bad tempered.

Cool and dangerous I'm a soldier for life. I was a well respected colonel in Vietnam who was forced to hide in the underground after being charged for a crime I didn't commit. The leader of the A-Team, I'm a crafty tactician and as I always say
"I love it when a plan comes together."
Capt.H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock
They call me "Howling Mad" and with good reason. Once a top notch pilot, the pressures of war left me mad. I am known for my smirk, variety of personas and overall mental instability. When I'm not spending time institutionalized, I'm using my flying skills for the A-Team, driving B.A. nuts and talking to my imaginary dog Billy.
Sgt.Bosco "B.A." Baracus
The 'B.A.' stands for Bad Attitude. I got the name in Nam where I was known for my short temper and letting my fists do the talking. I'm an expert mechanic with a skill for creating makeshift weapons and vehicles. Although tough on the exterior I have a big heart. I'm known for my trademark jewlery and mohawk and my notorious fear of flying.

Lt.Templeton "Faceman" Peck
The 'Faceman' as they call me, I'm the man to talk to to get things done. I've got a fast tongue and the connections to get the A-Team out of some of our most difficult moments. I have many disguises, as a smooth talker I'm very persuasive, and I don't hesitate to use this in working it with members of the opposite sex.
