I'm similar to an artist who creates beautiful paintings with brushes, paint, and canvas. Except, I use technology instead of brushes. My canvas is open air spaces like rooms, theater's, halls, and arena's. I paint these open spaces with frequencies which I filter through Microphones, sound consoles, Processing gear, Amps, & Speakers. I use this gear as a conduit to move air molecules yada..yada .yada ..Then there is sound!I'm blessed to have the ability to meld technology, musicians, and sound systems electronics into a beautiful sonic experience. Most of the productions I work have deep dynamic sonic backdrops, powerfully thick energy, "live" attributes. It sounds odd, but I visualize sound in my head in color. I believe that when a person pays hard earned $$$ for a concert ticket they want to hear the artist sound like it did when it was recorded in the studio. That is what I am best at. If I’ m not "on stage" or "in show" I can be found creating music in the studio. I like to travel, and I enjoy entertaining large masses of people. I am here to network with like partners to create music and productions for releases around the world.
The One, of course. My soulmate. I'm only going to get married once so i am holdng out for Ms. right. She is out there focusing on her passion like me. She is career minded, focused on her goals, she is a straight shooter and doesn't lie or play games. Until we meet I'll follow my own path. Why am i here? i want to network and combine forces with others who have a love of music and it's lifestyle as much as i do.
I started in the industry 18 years ago mixing and designing sound effects for films, "Post Production". I progressed into "live" rock and roll productions. I've done over 2000 live rock shows. In the 90’s between a few legs of tours with Yngwie Malmnsteen I started to produced, mix, master, and/or recorded a few dozen CD's. Currently, I have a nice house gig (except the hours) in the most technologically advanced theater in Florida, or the South East for that matter. I had to stop hosting my House music night "The Chemistry Lounge" performed in downtown Orlando because my career needed more focus. I have been spinning/DJing House music for over 14 years. When I’m multi-tasking I absorb stress easily and always maintain a level head. My life is on high speed, I think quickly, and I don't' need very much rest. 4-5 hours of sleep usually works for me.
If i watch tv it's likely to be something like Inside the NFL, NFL replay, discovery channel, science channel, history channel, adult swim,ATHF, Robot chicken, south park are a few of the shows I enjoy watching. my favorite thing to watch and hear is F1 formula racing. I DVR the races and watch them late night as i play records. TV doesn't consume me, i consume it.
My career keeps me very busy mixing many shows in the theater & around the US. I mix everyday of the year. It could be on a pro tools rig in my studio, in the theater mixing corporate shows, or in a pub helping everyone experience good sound..sometimes the corporate show get very boring so I usually have a few magazines in my laptop bag.I read many magazines:, Xbox magazine, Modern Drummer, EQ, Remix, Mix, Pollstar, rolling stone, spin, mens health, Pro Sound News: PLSN & FOH, Live,
My grandparents, Mother, and my Brother.
