Dwayne Maddox aka Kuntry Boi, was born in the ATL January 26, 1982. He is the youngest of three boys. He was born around the time of the Wayne Williams murders, so while living in the Ben Hill area of ATL, his mother was concerned and packed her three boys and moved back to her hometown of Newnan, GA’s Westside.He lived in Newnan and ATL throughout his childhood. Due to his mothers back injury he was forced to grow up fast. The love for music came from his mom playing records every Saturday. She would always play the good Old School jams from the sixties and seventies.Although he was brought up in church and was instilled good values, with no father figure around he turned to the streets (Rocky Hill/ Duncan St.) for guidance, hustling and doing whatever necessary to survive. He moved back to ATL in 1997 and started concentrating on music and getting money the right way. From 1997 to present he made the transition from trapper to rapper.His most joyous day was April 28, 2004 when his daughter Na’Shaya was born. From that point on, he dedicated his self to his family and he was fully focused on his music career. From that point on Kuntry Boi was officially born. plain layout @
