I recently relocated to NYC and am working in film production sound. I always have three or more projects going at once and am finally accepting this as stasis. Some call it A.D.D. Let's change the subject.I'm liking Brooklyn quite a bit. In general people here are more rough, which makes them more tangible, more real. I fell asleep on the subway for the first time the other morning after an all night shoot and ended up in the middle of Brooklyn in the pouring rain, tired, hungry. I stepped into a little diner and had eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast, orange juice, coffee and water for $3.75. I figured that I saved so much on breakfast that I could afford a cab home. My cabbi liked to floor it at green lights and stomp it on red. It's hard to sleep while this is happening.
