I moved back to Slovenia last year, to pursue an operatic career. I studied piano performance at Carleton University in Ottawa, but also took private singing lessons with Yoriko Tanno-Kimmons. After university, I continued my vocal studies in Ottawa as well as in Toronto with Stuart Hamilton and Jose Hernandez. I was also fortunate to spend a summer in Italy, studying with Daniel Ferro as well as Maestro Bruno Rigacci, Robert Kopelson, and Jan Philip Schulze. I am currently auditioning for various agencies and opera houses, and perform regularly with the church in Ljubljana, as well as in restaurants and private parties around the city.
