OK... I used to work waaaaay too hard and had my fingers in too many pies but now I'm going through a phase of just trying to enjoy life and live by the mantra 'I work to live, I don't live to work' and keep my work life to a minimum to give me as much free time as possible. It doesn't always work out that way, but I try my best.
I love fundraising - in 2005 I raised 3,500GBP for Macmillan Cancer Relief by trekking the Inca Trail in Peru. I am planning another challenge for 2008, so watch this space as I'll soon be bullying you all for donations!!
Am a popular agony aunt amongst my friends, and constantly have a soggy shoulder from being cried on so much. I don't mind though - I mean, what else are friends for, apart from setting you up with the dodgy bloke from accounts?!
I am movie and music mad and used to play the percussion, piano and a leeeetle guitar (not as in the size of the guitar, but as in the size of skills at playing the guitar) in my younger years (until serious adult work-type stuff took over!)
Would love to Socialise more, but in less alcoholic surroundings of the bars and clubs in Dubai. However, I love a good dance and chance to check out the young 'uns in Dubai (who all think they're uber cool) and generally have a laugh, so I am no stranger to the interior of many a bar and club in this plastic place.
