IVAN PANQUEVA
Born and raised in Bogotá-Colombia, Ivan Panqueva is a Singer, producer, songwriter and audio engineer. He is acknowledged as one of the initial pioneers in the NU-ELECTRONICA movement in Colombia.
He started in the early 90´s playing with alternative, grunge and rock bands in Bogotá while making noise with a small sample unit, that was given to him by his father.
From That point he was getting introduced without any doubt into the electronic music universe.
Ivan Panqueva began his career in the mid 90´s, Recording his first promo album ANALOGA in 1997 making use of a few Synthesizers, samplers, and music software.
Later on This Album was redesigned, recorded and commercially released in January of 2000 as The UNDER CLUB (Narcotic Records) stating an important precedent in the electronic music in Colombia.
After a year of promotion and tour dates with the album, he decides to move to London to study audio engineering and gets involved with the London scene and with Logicalnoise Records as a former artist of the label in 2001.
Now he lives in his hometown Bogotá and is currently finishing, one of tree music videos that will come along with the album.
