RIP Greg Marchak. Our Producer at Audiolab

About Me

UPDATE: Mike Scarpon (aka The Boss ) recently passed away and the brothers although saddened by his passing have regrouped and are determined more then ever to get the record out there..The Boss wouldn't have approved of us giving up..We would like to thank the Scarpon family for sharing Mike with us. He was a great man and is alive in our hearts always and forever.. It will never be "Just another day" without him.., We love you Mike and "Just another day" is always for you , Dennis & Chris Curatolo .....Chris and Dennis Curatolo were pounding the pavment of New York City, handing out demo recordings to band bookers at CBGB'S, the Mercury lounge and other NYC hotspots known to be the hangouts of record company executives and A&R people in charge of finding new musical talent. The brothers decided it was time to go home except for one last stop. They wanted to see the Ed Sullivan theatre where the Beatles made their American debut and is now the building where Late Nite with David Letterman is filmed. As they walked around the the Late Nite building ,a stage entrance door flung open and Dennis nearly walked into of all people David Letterman leaving to go home..Dennis greeted Letterman and asked if he had a minute. The accommodating Letterman said "sure".. Dennis proceeded to explain that he and Chris were walking the streets of New York handing out their bands' demo CDs to several clubs that were somewhat sleazy and went on to say that he and Chris would rather"Get it over with and appear on Late Nite" while handing over a copy of their CD to the talk show host. Letterman laughed and said he would see what he could do while posing with Dennis for a photograph. The weekend ended and the brothers went home .The next Monday morning Chris and Dennis were back in Florida when the telephone rang. "Hi Dennis this is Laurie Diamond from Late Nite with David Letterman." Letterman wanted her to touch base with the band and thank them for the CD. A follow-up call also came in that evening from Sheryl Zelikson, Late Nite Music Coordinator. The conversation with Zelikson offered advice on what the band needed to do to get a spot on The Letterman show. They would need to get signed to a prominent record label and they should contact Late Nite when they do.....The door had been opened.. 2 weeks later our country was attacked by the cowards who destroyed the Twin Towers changing the New York skyline and peoples lives forever. At that time the brothers chose not to persue The Letterman show because they felt it would be in bad taste to do so at that time. Shortly after 911 the brothers were fortunate enough to to befriended by a man who loved to make dreams come true.. Michael Scarpon put the brothers in audiolab studio's in Tampa Florida where they recorded their best work ever making the record "lost But Making Good Time". ... Special guest also appearing on their latest CD coutesy of Lave/Atlantic records Are Jon Oliva of Savatage,Trans siberian orchestra fame. Rob Stoney B3 player of "The Warren brothers" also lends his talents. The 3Trees latest CD titled "Lost but making good time" was produced and recorded by noted record producer Greg Marchak at Audiolab recording studio,Tampa, Florida .Executive producer on the project was Michael Scarpon...
