We probably let this CD sit around at TSB headquarters for a little bit too long, unaware of the glorious music contained within. We expected a four-piece instrumental band from Iceland to be going through the motions of Sigur Ros worship, but what awaits the listener on the Reistu tig vid, Solin er Komin a Loft... is an hour's worth of powerful, emotive instrumental rock that totally avoids the Scandinavian sound. Five tracks challenge the ten minute mark, and there's no shortage of ambition of clarity on this hot debut release. For a Minor Reflection is highly recommended for fans of Mogwai, Caspian, Pg. Lost.
