The compilation French Metal is now OUT !! We got a track on it ("Dry")with a lot of great bands such as Destinity, Benighted, Misanthrope, The old dead tree, Tank(Feat ZuulFx), Sybreed, S-core, Dungortheb, Guilty of reason, A very sad story... It's available on www.french-metal.com .
Finally, we're still working on the composition of the new album ...

Encore un grand merci à l’orga du festival l’herbe en zik pour l’accueil et tout simplement de nous avoir fait jouer. Petite vidéo récupérer du reportage France3 sur la journée métal du fest.
La série de concerts pour la promo de l’album se finit peu à peu avec notamment la grande scène du bastion à Besançon pour la fête de la musique et l’ULTIM ATOME open air à Blamont le 14 juin avec 8 groupes de Brutal Death, Death mélo, Trash, Black… de 13h à 23h, gratuit, ça va envoyer du très lourd !!!
La compil FRENCH METAL6 est sortie, un de nos titres y figure, et là aussi ça envoie du gros avec des titres plus ou moins inédits de : Destinity, Benighted, Misanthrope, The old dead tree, Tank(Feat ZuulFx), Sybreed, S-core, Dungortheb, Guilty of reason, A very sad story… et bien d’autres. Dispo contre 8 euros (port compris) sur www.french-metal.com ou via notre distro.
La composition du 2e album est assez bien avancée et on va encore plus s’y pencher ces prochaines semaines…
BIOGRAPHY
The Five members of the French Band Run Of Lava formed in 2006 from Ex-MUNKYPOSSE members and since then things have been going from strength to strength. Since the beginning of 2007 they have performed with high profile bands, such as: COMITY, ABORTED, MOTHER SUPERIOR, LOFOFORA, TAGADA JONES, SYBREED, HEADCHARGER, HELLBATS, MEMBRANE... The band play an aggressive style of metal with hardcore, stoner, doom and grindcore influences. Although they bring to mind band likenesses to MASTODON or PANTERA blended with elements of ENTOMBED. They have a completely unique and individual approach to their music. Demonstrated by the amazing guitar crunch and bone crushing sound with riffs that grab your attention spinning you around within their world of hardcore metal, that gives you an enormous adrenalin rush. They have a very strong following and are touring extensively across Europe and the UK. They have already captured a lot of interest within the USA and are in the process of preparing to record their next Album.
BIOGRAPHIE
Composé principalement d’ex MUNKYPOSSE, RUN OF LAVA s’est formé en mai 2006 avec l'arrivé de bastien (ex CALYPHORA) au chant. Le groupe joue un métal où s’entremêle des influences Hardcore, Stoner, Doom, Death, Grind... Depuis fin 2006 le groupe a déjà joué avec COMITY, ABORTED, MOTHER SUPERIOR, LOFOFORA, TAGADA JONES, HELLBATS, SYBREED, TAF, HEADCHARGER, MEMBRANE, BLACKSUMMER TIME, AMPOOLS, DATURA, KAMRAN, STELLARDRIVE, KNOCKED DAWN... Un 4 titres "corrosion EP" promo sort en mai 2007 et un 1er album 10 titres "Exploded Allusion" en septembre 2007. L'album sort autoproduit en france et via DRAGONSTORM REC à l'etranger. Debut 2008, le groupe et le label bosse sur la promo de l'album (bien accueilli par les zines).
