About Me

The BBC Proms is the world's greatest classical music festival. It attracts over a quarter of a million concert-goers each year who come to see the best international musicians performing a huge range of repertoire from early music to new commissions.
Taking place at Kensington’s Royal Albert Hall and Chelsea's Cadogan Hall, there is at least one concert every day for eight weeks every summer, culminating in the world-famous Last Night of the Proms concert. On top of the 90-plus concerts there are free films, talks, educational events, 'Meet the Artists' sessions and much more.
Ticket prices for most concerts at the BBC Proms range from £6.00 to £54.00. However, up to 1,400 'Promming' tickets, priced at £5, are held back for each and every concert; these are only available on the day of the concert and cannot be booked in advance.
The 2008 season will take place between Friday 18 July and Saturday 13 September. Full details are now on our website so check it out for the full listings!
