People/friends/family they come into our lives to teach us a thing or two about each other. It’s sad when we find ourselves having to say goodbye to them. Hug them, kiss them, love & appreciate them because in the end all you have left are memories.

The heroes I have are the women that surround me...they are my reality... I haven't met one yet that isn't strong, intelligent, open minded and independant...Where I am from (and where I have been)we've had to struggle to get to where we are going and I am glad that in our own way each of us have been able to *against all odds* overcome obstacles and become great women - This goes out to my mom Maria - to my sister Rosie - to my aunt Mary to my mother-in-law Gladys, my four sisters-in-laws Sofia, Cynthia, Machi & Jackie, to my friends Cari, the twins Myra & Myrian - their mom Juanita and their sister Melissa, to Jessica, to Gypsy, to Annie,to Miss Marion Philpotts(my Gifted and Talented Teacher) a beautiful black woman who taught me at age 10 to balance a book on my head-walk on heals-sing my heart out-and love who I was, to the all woman staff I work with Gerri - Paula - Erika - Patricia - Desiree - Jamie - Beverly - Lisa - Barbara - Marina - Mary - Sandy, to my students who inspire me to work hard in helping them be successful and to any other woman who in one way or another has helped shape me into the woman I am today...Thank you! img src="http://img.freecodesource.com/gallery/images/banners/pr od_779_24467.png" border="0"
