About Me

retro layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
HotFreeLayoutsSince 1993 Smac has been producing his own music giving it out freely to those who want to listen. Through creativity and a wide variety of musical influence along with years (10 + solo underground projects) of developing his talents Smac has developed into an artist that aims for creativity and perfection. With cult classics such as "I wanna be a pornstar", "The Anarchist" and "Carpet Muncher" numerous people in the local area have been familiar with Smac (a.k.a. Smac Daddy Cream) for quite some time. After years in the (once thriving) local hardcore scene working for the advancement of original music in a town obsessed with cock rock and cover bands Kilo grew sick of the monotony of the 'moral' majority. Joining with Paul Patterson, Doug Littleton, Rob Kluchard and Dan, umm, well, young ass Dan Stone Def Insanity was born. Along with brother bands Sift, Explicit and local hardcore pioneers Apathy Denied (a.k.a. Vessel) the music scene seemed to come alive. In fear of the artists having total control over the scene by local halls being made venues began to bar these original musicians of all genres except those that are unoriginal and mediocre, at best. The destruction of private property and injuries during shows may also have been a factor :) So came the end of a short-lived era.Kilo was introduced to Smac through mutual friends. Eventually Smac, Kilo, D Lewis, Xplicit (Ben Lowry), and J-Sinn (CIK) formed Burning Westlawn (whos name was originated from the burning of the Westlawn projects in Warren, OH) which was never really taken seriously, by listeners or those in the group. Once SDI had split due to various different reasons Kilo was drawn to begin creating hip hop and electronic music. After the release of an underground tape by Burning Westlawn Smac and Kilo would later form Smokadelic. The name of the group was derived from a Burning Westlawn song titled "420 All Day" that only featured Smac and Kilo being they were the only two in the group that smoked the God given gift known as marijuana at that time. Originally recording in Smacs home in the Warren Heights they released, but never majorly distributed "Big Tits and Bong Hits".Kilo had taken off to Arizona and eventually was forced back to Ohio. Over the years as Smac and Kilo developed their skills and began to mature through dealing with the elements of life Smokadelic began to take on a whole new meaning. Looking forward to the release of a self-titled album Smac and Kilo are hoping to usher in a brand new era to overcome the destitute state of the music industry as we know it today.
