The Weeders were originally formed by Mannix Farren and Steve Kelly as an acoustic duo in 2005. In June of 2007 the band was expanded to a four piece supergroup with the addition of the honorable Reverend of Rythmn Damien Connor on bass and Dr. Mike Transeau on drums and percussion. Essentially, The Weeders went electric.
The full band now plays rocking and rollicking shows in the MD/VA/DC area. No two shows are ever the same and each show is extremely unpredictable. For this very reason it is worth it to attend every performance.
