I slit puppies' throats for fun!

About Me

Let's see.....My full name is Brian Kunimasa Murata. I'm a tall, large young man with jet-black hair and dark brown eyes, and a bit of a sake gut. My family is from Japan, that country where the toilets have more electronics packed into them than most US spy satellites, and where all the porno movies involve cartoon or video game characters, and are usually gang-oriented :) That's right...I said it! :P
I'm probably one of the shyest people you'll ever meet (if you meet me in person) and it takes a while to finally get me to be...not-shy? Would that be the term? I'm the most seclusive person you'll ever meet...actually if I'm seclusive, then you probably won't meet me will you? Some people think I'm creepy or a weirdo...and I don't totally disagree with them :) I'm not an overly outgoing person, I'm just as happy at home with my six-string (that's guitar for the laymen out there) and my creativity as I am going out. I'm actually a bit of a loner (think Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series or Shadow from Final Fantasy 3/6). Sometimes I like to just lay in bed at night and really think...HARD (I sometimes amaze myself with what I can think of, whether it's serious, trivial, or downright silly). The best part is when I'm meditating and I explore my inner consciousness as a whale-dragon-human hybrid on a course through the very fabric of space, time, and the plane of ultra-flux-paranormal existence...or something... :) I'm serious about the staying home and thinking thing, I really do like to lay in bed and think about things...under my sheets lies paradise.
I am a martial arts (Kenpo) instructor, an activist, a writer, and a bit of a joker. You can consider me a social-democratic populist, although I AM getting into this revolutionary new political ideology called "Bananarchism", heavily influenced by Raffi's work "Banana Phone". I hope to become a musician one day (I'm attending Okanagan College for Audio Engineering and Music Production...although I don't think the class is working out for me), and use my music to promote positive progressive social and political change. I also wouldn't mind publishing the story I'm working on right now (ask me super nicely and I might show a bit to you :)...I'm actually considering dropping the musician thing and doing my story instead (screw you, political-punk rock haters!). I'm also very rowdy, goofy, and I say random things at random times. Most notably, I skank (that's ska-dancing, my friends) in the hallways, periodically yell stupid things out, have silly rap battles, do silly celebrity impersonations and, moon people at college, dance/mosh through large crowds of people, and point out celebrity look-alikes (most of the above are done at school). All in all, I have a very random sense of humor (this self-description is one example), but I can also be ultra-serious when need be...I'm usually random-goofy at the wrong times though...
To sum it up, I'm a politically-driven musician, a man with a mission to change the world with his music. Some say I am funny, while others say I'm a dick. Some say I'm sweet, while others say I'm creepy. In the end, I'm just another guy trying to change the world, making good and bad decisions along the way, and learning from both my mistakes and my good actions.
PS. If you're one of those people who poses half-naked in your pictures and says "I know Myspace has a policy about naked pictures, so see my site here", then don't bother adding me, because I won't approve you...in fact, you suck!
Also, I'm NOT Brivolution from YouTube...just thought you'd like to know...
And one last thing: if you look up "Brian Murata" under google images, you get a picture of some Japanese guy doing judo...and he looks exactly like me! Pretty awesome, huh?
This is me in my ninja outfit...WATCH OUT!:
This is one of my brothers and I practicing our ninja skills against our dad:

The Future of Brivolution

So...what are my plans for the new year? Put simply: GET OUT OF KELOWNA. I HATE this town.  Being a leftist in Kelowna is comparable to being a non-Asian in Richmond (excuse the stereotypes,...
