About Me

This guy called Ian Quixote walked into a Psychology lecture once and screamed "The stress of leisure is upon us!" Hell, what an inspiration. And well, different context altogether I know, but New Farm in Brisbane used to have all sorts of types wandering around its parts too. Now, it's more likely you'll find the bourgeoisie and one hell of a distressed Ian. Property values aside the guy reckons he's got a few chords he could string together for his next investment property. This is what he tells a few of the cafe regulars in any case. It's a beautiful symbiotic relationship between Ian and these various acquaintances, taking into account neither party really cares what the other says, both being partial to aspirational talk. And getting back to inspiration, nothing impresses them more, or the owners too I guess, than the sight of Ian sauntering in punching the air to the tune of "Lou Reed, Yeah!!" There's this and many other subplots. Unrequited love perhaps, a love of 70's New York Rock n Roll, a bee sting on an overly sunny day, a beautiful waste of time.........a perfect mandarine. Ian Quixote, bless his soul. The Stress of Leisure is upon us indeed! Let the Leisure Seekers know would you?
