The purpose of life is happiness -- Dalai Lama

About Me

Cheerful, engaging, intellectual, friendly sort. Always wished I was a fabulous European club-circuit kid.Spend 90% of my time in my executive coaching and public speaking business. They're the second-funnest jobs in the world. Aspiring media personality. *That* is the funnest job. Love my work, love my life. You can read all about my professional life at http://www.SteverRobbins.com.Have done various cable access call-in shows, including "BizTalk" with my friend Paula. It's kind of Dr. Phil for business issues. Only we're cuter, funnier, and collectively have more sexual orientations and races than Dr. Phil.I take on at least one new learning project a year. Past projects: swing dancing, singing, yoga, Shamanism, comedy improv, standup comedy, TV commercialing, acting. Current project: how to market myself and my business!Socially, I like spending time one-or-one in small groups, movies, games days, and just hanging out are my speed. I like the chance for conversation, real interaction, etc. That, or mindlessly staring at a screen in a big dark room. (The things you can do in the dark...)

My Interests

Psychology, theater, strategy games, massage, swing dancing, movies, Ericksonian hypnosis, yoga

Television:

Arrested Development. The Sopranos. The Daily Show. Colbert Report.

Books:

Books with new ideas that change the way I think about the world. That and trashy sci-fi/fantasy. Sheri Tepper, Katherine Kurtz, Orson Scott Card, David Feintuch.
