I am originally from Spain. From a very very small village called Santa Martallia. It is so small that it is not even listed on most maps. The population is less than 500 people and it is located in the Basque region of Spain. I love my place of birth!I am the eldest of 4 children. I have 2 younger sisters (Estrellia, 15 yrs and Nevia, 13 yrs) and a younger brother (Abir, 11 yrs). My father died shortly before Abir was born (car accident). He was a very good man and his absence is still felt by my family. We miss him. My mother managed to keep us fed and healthy (with the help of my wonderful grandparents, aunts and uncles)for all of these years. She is the best mother in the world!My ethnic background consists of, on my father's side, Spanish, Arabic, and on my mother's side, Spanish, French, Portuguese. My religious backround is Chaldean. Chaldean is a branch of Catholicism that originated in the Middle East.A friend of mine, a fellow student, suggested that I start a Myspace web page in order to practice my English writing. Please excuse me if I make any errors, English is not my first language but I am trying hard to improve.I am an Engineering student at the University of Cincinnati (International Exchange Student Program)on full scholarship (I am rather proud of that). I have made many friends and am enjoying myself but I still miss my family a great deal. It has been almost a year since I have seen them last. I will see them soon. I have already made travel arrangements to travel back to Spain during the next semester break. I am looking forward to that day.
