I am here for Friends

About Me

"I'm from the ghetto, homie. I was raised on bread and bologna." Just Kidding.I live alone in Tacoma (near Stadium), and am working in the bustling metropolis of Federal Way. I enjoy listening to music (all kinds, including some country), athletics, and bar-hopping. My work brings me into rather close contact with some shady people, so in my off time, I like normal, non-gang-affiliated ones.

My Interests

Tasteful nudity, drinking (anything that isn't clear), reading (mostly non-ficiton), sports (except hockey and the WNBA), talking (with interesting folks), eating Mexican food from Los Betos, sleeping, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Morrissey, Mike Ness, Fat Mike, Trent Lott (only so that I could knee him in the nutsack), Jimmy Carter, anyone associated with "the war on terror" (see Sen. Lott, supra). Aside from this non-exhaustive list, I enjoy meeting anyone with similar interests, an ounce of wit, and fully-clothed in their profile pics.

Music:

NOFX, J.R. Cash, The Smiths, Morrissey, Social Distortion, The Ziggens, Sublime, Long Beach Dub, Strung Out, The Dead Kennedys, Waylon Jennings, Eric B. (but not Rakim), Pennywise, The Bears, The Donnas, Ryan Adams, Dwight Yoakum, Chris Isaak, Matisyahu, The Pogues, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams (Sr.), Patsy Cline, Luther Perkins, and most rap from California (especially the one and only, Todd Shaw, aka Too $hort, beeeotch).

Movies:

Bowling for Columbine, Spellbound, North Shore, The Big Lebowski, Napoleon Dynamite, Anchor Man, Walk the Line, Brokeback Mountain, Indiana Jones 3, 1, and 2 (in that order), Outfoxed, Just One of the Guys, Karate Kid....

Television:

Right now, my favorite shows are Wild West Tech and Diff'rent Strokes re-runs. For the most part, I'm decidedly ANTI reality programming, though I've a soft spot (read addiciton) for Breaking Bonaduce. Seems our much-missed red headed brat from The Partridge Family has devolved into a booze-swilling, needle cramming roidhead/hype!!! It is fucking AWESOME. My brother and I also indulge in MTV Made and True Life. I also love Deadwood on HBO. Throw in a LOT of Howard Stern on Demand and you have me in a nutshell. Oh, I can't forget: one particular episode of MTV True Life, entitled "Fat Camp II."

Books:

Any Wilde, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Russell, Blake, Browning, Hardy and Mauet. I especially enjoy anything by Howard Zinn.

Heroes:

Jimmy Carter, Morrissey, Fat Mike, Soren Kierkegaard, Paul Fitzgerald, SJ, Mandela, Justin Gene Lent, Chuck Norris, Wyatt Earp, Mark Schemper, Chef Boyardee, Ennis DelMar.
