Why Do I Do What I Do When I Don't Know What I'm Doing?

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, with dreams larger than life. I followed them to end up right where I've always wanted to be.
I'm a northern girl who should have been raised in the south.
I’ve very hard headed and will not compromise myself- or my beliefs.
I care too much and I care too deep, and no matter how much that comes back to bite me, I won’t change how I feel or care about anyone.
I believe in living my own life and doing whatever it is that makes me happy. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about me. If you don't like me it's your loss.
I believe that working hard, being honest, and being yourself can get you to wherever it is that you want to be. I’m living proof.
True friends accept you no matter what. If they are truly your friends, they will accept you just the way you are. Don't change because people want you to. If you're going to change- do it because you want to.
Without my friends, I'm not me.
Sometimes people think I’m hard to get along with. That may be true if you are trying to be someone that you’re not. “In a world where you can be anyone- be yourself.”
Music is my lifeline. I need it to survive.
I Sing. I Dream. I Love. --- Anyways.
Losing friends can break you down, but that only makes your stronger.
Some people aren't who they seem...They're better. Look beyond the surface and you might be surprised by what's inside. I believe in finding the best in everyone.
I don't believe in letting people down.
Someday you'll be able to see my life through photographs.
I like to spend time alone.
Listening to rain fall and the thunder roll calms my nerves.
You can't save everyone, especially when they don't want to be saved. Eventually, they might figure out how to save themselves.
I don't believe in begging for friendship.
I believe in Karma.
My mission in life is to make people smile.
Someday it will all pay off.
On September 16, 2007 I lost one of my best friends. He will forever be in my heart, and part of me will never be the same.
“Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.”
"You can pour your soul out singing a song that you believe in- that tomorrow they'll forget you ever sang-- Sing it anyways."

People piss me off

It amazes me that people can expect to be treated one way when they treat everyone else the exact opposite. You're a manager. It's your job to set an example for your employees. It's your job to work...

Him

It always ends the same. I trust people and I get hurt. People who I thought were my friends weren't. They promised they would always be there and they're not. Friends don't lie. Liars lie. Cowards. ...

Runs in the family

I'm just like my mom and no, that is not a bad thing. The older I get the more I realize how much we are alike. My family has always given way more than we take and we do it with a smile on our face....

Everybody Needs Somebody Sometime

Keith Urban's new CD is the soundtrack to my life at the moment. There are words to live by in every song he sings. Here they are: "When there's no one you can trust and you feel like giving up on you...

Tis The Season

I love this time of year. It gets cold and tries to "snow." Like it did this morning. I'm surprised everyone didn't rush to Kroger's to stock up on food for the blizzard that was fast approaching! HA!...

A Year In the Business

Today marks my 1 year anniversary of working in the music business. The time has gone by so fast. Sometimes it's still surreal to me. You'd think after a year I would stop thinking that I'm living in ...

CMA Award Show

I went to the country music awards in downtown Nashville last night and had a blast. My seats were in the top of the arena, but that didn't matter because I was in attendence. What made it even better...
