Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Bleak House, Hard Times, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Alan Bennett. Paul Auster. Most Shakey plays and sonnets. All sorts of poets and poetry, close to my heart are Pablo Neruda and C K Williams. Partial to Yeats too.
