Sheikh approved soundsytem, Da:Funct, may be new kids on the block to the Dubai scene having only DJâ€™d in the capital of smiles for less than a year, but they laugh in the face of foolhardy suggestions that they are newcomers. After conquering the Ras Al Khaimah rave scene and single-handedly defining the now legendary Sons of Sharjah Noise Assault, theyâ€™re again hitting Dubai with their mixed bag of electro, sleazy-house and breakbeat (with mixed pickles). A force stronger than a Raviâ€™s Chicken 65, Da:Funct are the death-disco mayhem sound youâ€™ve all been waiting for.
