STARTODAY [31/05 finalmente a Termoli]

JOKERCOCKS started in 2001 playing melodic hc with californian influences. In these years we've played with a lot of bands of the italian scene,such as SHANDON,HORMONAUTS,STILITI,ecc. and other bands of friends like GARAGE,BELINTESTA,DUFF,MPD,MONKEYPUNX,RFC. During february 2003 we recorded our first demo of five songs in californian style that had good reviews;but the aim is to play music as personal as possible. The year 2004 took an important change of line up:Nicola (bass) and Francesco (drums) joined the band. Meantime we increased live shows and composed new songs,trying to impress them our style;we recorded a 3 songs EP on november 2005 and we played (always in november) two shows in Czech Republic (Prague@Club Vagon and Teplice@Bozak Club) with our friends HOUBA.After this short tour EGIDIO joined the band as the second singer. During the summer of 2006 we started to record our first full-length cd of 11 tracks,called THE CHAIN (the s/t track is included in IT'S NOT MY COMPILATION VOL.I - www.notmyrecords.tk). We decided to stop playing as jokercocks in the beginning of 2007; now we are practising as STARTODAY,and we play melodic hc on the air of bands like NO TRIGGER,STRIKE ANYWHERE and so on... The only song we've stolen from our old band is THE CHAIN. In september 2007 GIOVANNI joined the band as the second guitar.
