OUR PASTOR
Bishop Karl L. Washington has been the Pastor of ASOLC, Inc. since August 1994. When he arrived, he continued and expanded upon the work that was founded by his mother, Mother Hennie Washington.Bishop Washington is an accomplished musician, mastering the organ and piano. The Lord has blessed Bishop Washington with a very powerful and unique deliverance ministry. He is commissioned by God to cross all barriers, whether doctrinally, organizationally or ethically, to preach the anointed unadulterated apostolic Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and dying soul. The Lord has given him a vision for the people that “WE SHALL LIVE AND NOT DIE.â€Bishop is a very humble man, and is called on to perform various tasks by many people around the tri-state area. He truly embraces the Word of God. He firmly believes that God can only be glorified through “Prayer, Praise, Worship and the Word.†church

CHURCH HISTORY
To God be the Glory for allowing our Church Mother and Founder to give birth to the Ambassador Seed of Love Church, Inc. The Ambassador Seed of Love Church evolved out of a series of community prayer services and bible classes which were held in the home of Mother Washington. The first service was held on September 2, 1990. Never acting as a pastor, Mother Washington truly mothered the people of God by teaching them the principles of the Apostolic Doctrine, praying, fasting and praising God.The move of God during the prayer services and bible classes was tremendous in that a baptismal pool was built in the basement of her home by the late Elder James Washington. As a result of this move, 57 souls were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and 19 souls were filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gave the utterance.The ministry rapidly out-grew the constraints of Mother Washington's home and the Lord blessed the ministry to purchase a building at 2348 North 25th Street in July of 1991.As the ministry grew, God sent laborers to aide in ministering to the needs of the people. This ministry was blessed to have the spiritual gifts of Elder James Washington and (at that time) Minister Sherman Howard. During their service, the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.August of 1994, the Lord sent (at that time) Elder Karl L. Washington to pastor the church. The Lord has anointed Bishop Washington with a powerful and unique deliverance ministry. He is commissioned by God to cross all barriers, whether doctrinally, organizationally or ethically to preach the anointed unadulterated apostolic Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and dying soul. The Lord has given him a vision for the people that "We shall live and not die;" a vision which has wrought healing and wholeness to many. God has richly blessed the ministries of ASOLC, Inc, many souls have been and continue to be delivered, baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost.
