About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / My space

"Attitude determines Altitude."I was born during the time of year when you can watch shooting stars galore in the night sky. They're not really stars but the Perseid meteor shower (comet dust). Everything about the cosmic universe intrigues me. I ponder about the vastness of the universe. I also like to be near water (ocean or lake). So fortunate to be blessed with an awesome daughter (Crystal)! My daughter is everything a parent could wish for: beautiful, well-behaved, intelligent (GATE Seminar), has a good heart, has a great sense-of-humor, and is quite talented and creative. Together we took polynesian dance classes. I love the polynesian culture for their dance and costumes while Crystal thinks it's so uncool (those coconut tops)! I love sultry sexy dancing to exotic drumbeats! We both learned how to play the piano & violin, but I must say that I never got good at the violin but Crystal is quite an accomplished violinist! She is also learning how to play the acoustical guitar. I can tinker those ivory keys, however, and the piano has been my personal therapist from time-to-time. I am known to be a generous person with a good heart. Respect is very important to me. My family is close. I'm quite an advocate of animals (if I could, I would save all the animals!) and have a strong love for dogs; they give unconditional love. I miss my dog, BooBoo, who use to sing along whenever I played Mozart's "Rondo" on the piano. He went to dog heaven after 14.5 yrs. I'm sensitive to nature's gifts and wonderment: rainbows, waterfalls, sunsets, flowers, stars, mountains, oceans, the moon, aurora borealis, and fragrance (ok, so this may seem corny but "carpe diem!"). Good health and happiness are the most important blessings we can have. I'm of filipino-spanish-chinese heritage and raised in beautiful San Diego most of my life. I'm a travel crazed person who believes in the adage: "While in Rome, do as the Romans do" (eat their foods, listen to their music, dance their dance, and attempt to speak their language. In other words, really get into each country's culture!). I love traveling and have been to exotic places, such as Tahiti (Bora Bora & Moorea), Hawaii (Oahu, Maui, Kauai, & Hawaii), Philippines, Hong Kong, all over Europe, all over the Caribbean, all over Mexico, Canada, Alaska, and Japan. My travel goal is to experience Africa, Bali, Costa Rica, Fiji, England, Egypt, Brazil (Rio De Janeiro), Samoa, Singapore, and Thailand. Just returned from a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, Greece, & Turkey. And in August I went on a Caribbean cruise. Next year I'm either cruising Egypt, England, Denmark, Copenhagen, and Russia, or I'm cruising Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Vietnam, etc. I'm also an artist and extremely creative. Full of dichotomy: at times I am silly, crazy, confident, bold, optimistic, and open-minded, while other times shy, insecure, vulnerable, and serious. I'm wild and conservative all in the same breath! I live my life with dramatic flair and passion. I try to carry myself with class. Although I am sensitive, I'm very strong emotionally and psychologically. Those who are special to me, I am very supportive and affectionate towards. I am blessed to have wonderful relatives on both my paternal and maternal side. We are very close. I really love my family. I love making new friends and it is a plus if you are honest, ethical, and think positively. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Try to keep an open mind as to not limit your knowledge and experiences. Oh, and I don't do drugs. I'm about as straight as one can get; I don't smoke and never been drunk. In fact, I don't recall the last time liquor touched my mouth. But I do get addicted to hugs. And one more thing, I have "germaphobia!" LOL. And I am not exaggerating that fact! If my wish were to come true, then someone who I have chemistry with who is intelligent, classy, with a good conscience to do the right thing, with high integrity, and a sense-of-humor will come along and become my best friend. Friendship makes a good foundation for my ideal romantic relationship. This is the man that I will honor and love deeply. This is as real as it can get. I stopped believing in fairytales a long time ago. So far lasting love has eluded me. I'm trying to learn to make better choices. Chemistry and character are more important to me than good looks. The further one progresses in age, the slimmer the pickings get, but don't be desperate and settle for less. I still believe there are plenty of good people out there, some with broken spirits yet stuggling with hope, others with unfailing optimism. No one should kid themselves, relationships take work and dedication. They always start out idealistic in the beginning, but then the stuff comes out. So don't rush into a relationship and take time to know the person. So how does each individual address the problems and issues? Then there are those who won't address issues at all. I'm still learning as I go and listen to "Dr Laura" who quickly can assess and provides effective suggestions to problems. Life is what you make of it, never sell yourself short and make it good. It's all about attitude, that's why one of my mottos is "Attitude determines altitude." Always proceed with caution, but you must take risks. Without taking risk, you don't progress. You can't make a homerun if you don't get up to the plate to bat. This is the key to living life to the fullest. Don't forget that your mate must be continuously nurtured, yet also that you count as well. Find the balance. Balance is so important. It won't be easy but it is attainable. Oh, and it is essential for my happiness that I connect with someone who is affectionate.Crystal on a beach at Isla Roatan, HondurasMe @ Akaka Falls, HawaiiLeslie/Chula/Crystal/ChloeNelly & MayraCrystal 5yrs old Crystal 7yrs old Crystal 14yrs old

My Interests

I definitely have wanderlust. I love vacation getaways! Traveling; photography; playing piano; singing; dancing (ballet, tap, salsa, cha-cha, Latin, country line, modern, Philippine, Tahitian, Hawaiian, Samoan, ballroom, and hip-hop); art; astrology; astronomy; biology; psychology; parapsychology; amusement parks; cooking; reading; camping; swimming; horseback riding; ice-skating; watching football; animals (especially dogs and dolphins); pizza, lobster, bbq ribs, fried rice, fruits, chocolate/white chocolate, desserts, Japanese, Thai, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, & Philippine foods; drinking ice water, ice-tea, lemonade, virgin Pina Coladas, Jamba Juice, boba drinks, hot chocolate, and soup; and having intense conversations. So into cuddling, ideally beside a fireplace when it's raining outside with someone special or outdoors in some romantic setting. Into tender kisses. Entranced by the ocean and the universe. Love fragrant flowers, bright wildflowers, orchid-colored roses, gardenias, tuberose, stars, sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, and waterfalls. I even get excited when I see a shooting star! I cannot stay away from dancing for long. I really love polynesian dance and latin dances. And I'm eager to learn almost any other type of dances! So I'm thinking about trying belly dancing next. LOL

I'd like to meet:

Too late, but I wanted to meet Princess Di who models compassion and class; Albert Einstein, because brilliant minds intrigue me; Brooke Shields for her incredible beauty; The Beatles who have a undeniable place in music history; and idol, Orlando Bloom whose charm and charisma on screen is profound. I'd like to meet Jesus and maybe YOU.Long time ago when I use to model Galaxies intrigue me glamourshot (lol)My powerful, smart, and good friend, Bo. I'm borrowing him to be my dance partner. =)With Ric, my confidante and friend since elementary school days who is intelligent, a gifted singer, and a guitarist. We have always been super compatible. With my "genius" friend, Carlos, & best friend, Elsa. This is Luke. He taught me not to settle for less. He calls me "Pook" and has a cute New Zealand accent. He is extremely intelligent. He is the Kiwi King (that means he can play rugby, worships the All Blacks, can do the "haka," loves eating hokie pokie candy made out of "golden syrup," and can eat a vegemite sandwich without barfing!). We did crazy things, such as sleep outdoors on the beach on summer nights underneath the stars. Our vast age difference kept us from having the option of a future together. We were once best friends but our relationship evolved to where I no longer want to retain him as a friend. Glitter Graphics - Myspace - Bebo - Hi5 - Friendster I love to play in the rain!Kathy & CrystalI was staring at a sand art, then drew the sand art using craypas. And don't mess with Rickytan! He's my bodyguard. I'm ecstatic 'cause he's been gone so long but my hunky friend has just returned to raise the dead. He not only protects me physically from punks, he also protects my heart. Crystal 2006Crystal deleted her myspace profile so she can focus on her school grades (such dedication to her goals). She just got invited by People to People to Japan for a student ambassador program! Last year made Who's Who in America and got invited to National Youth Leadership State Conference. She's pulling straight A's (4.17 gpa) even though she's taking challenging classes, balancing violin, piano, guitar, and polynesian dances lessons, and performing community services. My Latin Family * August 2007 * I love them very much"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away". Borrowed from Kristine and dedicated to Vince: Distance is not for the fearful. It is for the bold. It's for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. Vincent, my sexy heart throb
