Food, red wine, happy hour and sports. I root for any team that plays against the Lakers--especially the Miami Heat--GO SHAQ! The Steelers [I hugged the BUS!!!], the Penguins, and the Pirates. I am a travel bug and try to get out of town as much as I can.
Anyone with that down-to-earth Midwest sensibility and silliness. Anyone with East Coast sarcasm and wit--bring it on! I need the practice! But if I had to make a list... George Clooney, George Bush-father & son, Bill Clinton [wonder if he'd grab my ass], Oprah, hmmm, I'll have to add to this list later. ____________________________________________________________ _ REGARDING FRIEND REQUESTS: PLEASE DO NOT send me a request if I don't know you outside of MySpace, we don't have any friends in common, you are trying market or sell something, or you have a bunch of naked people or drug references on your MySpace. I am an embarrasment to the industry. Last movie I saw in a theater was "Dreamgirls." And I haven't hooked up my DVD player which is sitting on top of my VCR [yes, still use one--have to for work.]
"Grey's Anatomy" Heroes" and What About Brian--bummed it was cancelled! "1940's House" a documentary show on PBS where a family in England lives as if they were in wartime with all the hardships--rationing, the blackout, air raids, etc. any of the characters. GUILTY: I admit that I can't peel myself away from some of MTV's & VH1's latest programming--The Hills, Rock of Love, Scott Baio is 45 & Single, and The Pick-Up Artist. THE NEWS: So that you don't think I am a vapid Hollywood chick--I do watch the news but usually get it on the radio when I am stuck in my car and the internet. CNN, FOX news channel & FOXsports & ESPN.
So far nothing can top the "DaVinci Code" or "Memoirs of a Geisha." "A Civil Action" almost had me in law school til I got to the end. I love Harry Potter. I haven't been able to get past the first few chapters of "Lord of the Rings." When I have time to read it's an escape for me so I prefer novels that transport me to other places or situations I'd love to experience--real or imaginary.
Superman, Wonder Woman and Robin Hood--huh? What do you mean they don't exist?
